Incubator Programme

Purpose

{build} serves as a pipeline for building new products in GovTech, and the incubator is a key part of bridging the gap between 'hackathon project' and 'production-ready system'. We're here to support you and bring your project across that last mile to production.

Project Ownership

We believe that teams should own their projects. As the ones to ideate, solution, and present, you get to decide how you want to take your project forward, Whether to continue working on it through the incubator, or to hand it off to an agency or programme.

During the Incubator

Teams will be part of the DIP pipeline, presenting monthly updates to the DIP Committee. They will also receive guidance from mentors, and have clinics where they can work with the PM Practice for support. Team members will be allowed to take time off their main project to work on their project, and DIP will work out with your main team on the modality.

After the Incubator

A long-term arrangement for the project will be decided at Proof-of-Value (POV) completion at the end of the incubator. This will involve the business owner (agency or GovTech Programme), DIP, and the project team determining where the project should sit. Details regarding the final resourcing and manpower for the project would be worked out at this point.
