Problem statement

Creating effective slides is a major challenge, involving time-consuming and inefficient processes. Manually gathering and synthesising information from multiple sources, structuring content to fit the target audience, and waiting for colleague feedback significantly slow down productivity. As a result, approximately 600 MDDI officers collectively spend an estimate of 39,000 hours each year drafting initial decks.

Our Solution

AI-powered Slidey transforms the slide creation process by intelligently generating presentations tailored to the user’s needs while offering insightful feedback to enhance clarity and impact.

Impact and outcomes

We tested Proof of Concept with the GITD team from MDDI and at the feedback bazaar.

Slidey can potentially reduce the time to develop the initial draft of a deck by up to 50%.

Future steps for your project

For future iterations, our group hopes for Slidey to be able to generate graphical elements like icons and data visualisations such as graphs and charts, based on the defined mood and theme of the slide deck.
