Project Description

In today's digital world, essential government services are increasingly moving online. However, 58% of elderly individuals in Singapore struggle with digital literacy, and 36.9% face language barriers, making it difficult for them to navigate online platforms independently. Many seniors rely on family members or in-person assistance, delaying crucial services such as medical appointments, financial aid applications, and housing upgrades.

KopiKaki is a seamless, AI-powered voice-assisted form-filling solution that empowers seniors to independently access government services online.

Key Features

  • AI-powered translation & real-time voice guidance in local dialects to support non-English speakers
  • Interactive, step-by-step navigation that simplifies complex forms and digital processes
  • Smart voice-to-text input for seniors who struggle with typing
  • Tailored support for critical services such as HDB home improvement polls, Muis Zakat contributions, and healthcare applications

Impact and Outcomes Analysis

  • Complete online forms 50% faster with real-time assistance
  • Reduce errors by 20%, ensuring accurate submissions
  • Enhance independence, allowing seniors to access services without external help

Future Steps

  • Integration with more government agencies to expand digital accessibility
  • Personalized AI learning to improve dialect recognition and contextual accuracy
  • Collaboration with community centers for hands-on workshops and adoption support
