Problem Statement

POD Talent Management spends a significant amount of time on manual job rotation tasks, including data extraction, approvals, and talent matching, leading to inefficiencies. Employees lack clarity on how job rotations impact their career progression, affecting engagement and retention. Without a structured career mobility framework, GovTech faces the risk of losing high-potential employees to external opportunities. Additionally, the absence of a centralized leadership pipeline tracking system makes it difficult for HR to identify future leaders and address workforce gaps effectively.

Problem Formulation Process

  1. Conducted rounds of formal interviews with POD Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management to validate the initial problem statement.
  2. Understand the customer service journey and pain points from POD.
  3. Use wireframe / mock-up to validate the pain points iteratively.
  4. Refine the problem statement.

Enable PODs to design career exposure to meet staffs’ career aspiration with data-driven with seamless integration with core HR system.

Impact and outcomes analysis of your solution

The solution must provide the customised dashboard, recommender and role matching to deliver Structured Job Rotation and Development programme.
