AuditMate (Procurement) leverages on technology to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of procurement audits. Our solution is designed to streamline processes, reduce manual effort, and enhance overall productivity.
Internal auditors in government are facing inefficiencies and manual effort in their audit processes, causing delays and increased workload. This problem affects the entire audit team, resulting in reduced productivity and potential oversight of critical issues.
To address these challenges, we broke down the problem statement into three main procedures:
Auditors spend excessive time locating and retrieving procurement data from various systems, leading to inefficiencies and delays in the audit process.
Manual review of procurement documents is labor-intensive and prone to human error, slowing down the audit process and increasing the risk of oversight.
Auditors must perform repetitive and routine tasks manually, increasing the risk of inconsistencies and errors, and consuming valuable time.
Our team experimented with various GenAI platforms to formulate prompts specifically for conducting procurement audit test procedures. Once a list of suitable prompts was created, we implemented it into a Prompt Library. Using Power Automate, we established an end-to-end workflow using GovText in our test environment.
Our solution leverages on existing processes to automate data retrieval and make them more accessible, significantly reducing the time and effort required for data collection.
Leveraging on AI, AuditMate can analyse procurement documents quickly and accurately, identifying potential issues and anomalies that may require further investigation.
Our AI analysis chain automates repetitive tasks, providing auditors with consistent insights. This allows auditors to focus on higher-level analysis and more complicated test procedures.
